The event was definitely interesting. I am personally most interested in two questions.

Firstly, I am concerned about the prices for grain and oil and forecasts for the next period, which was covered quite fully. Well, I was persuaded again, that there won’t be positive changes by the end of the year, though quite good perspectives were indicated. I am very optimistic (if more people were as optimistic, as I am, we could live better), so I agree we need to wait a bit and continue to work hard.

Secondly, I am very interested in the sale of agricultural enterprises. Since our lands are situated in five regions of two oblasts, it is quite difficult to work in such conditions, so of course we would like to sell some lands and buy the other ones, which are closer. Therefore, in my opinion, there should be more issues concerning land sale discussed next time.»

«When I first became acquainted with the program of the event, I said to myself, that it would be better to hold the conference in different halls, since I might be interested in one thing, and the other person in a different thing. But then I thought: „And why not to brush up everything?“

I`ve been engaged in farming since 1991. I started with five hectares of land, now our enterprise has 3,500 hectares of land, modern technologies (we are one of the first in Ukraine to implement precision farming methods) and recognized results (the best farm of 2005). If I didn’t attend such conferences and exhibitions it would be difficult to achieve the results we have. During such events one can draw new information and, most importantly, learn where to find it, because it is impossible to know everything. As for me, the highlighting of price increases for agricultural products and the covering of legal issues (renting, lending, and insurance) were the most interesting.

In addition a big plus of the congress is communication: the information, heard from speakers, can be immediately discussed with colleagues, because you know a lot of them already, and this is certainly important and very positive.»

«My general impression of the congress is very positive. I do not regret I have visited it. I was mostly interested in the prices perspectives and technology and I have heard all of that. Pity, but in our country you cannot plan beforehand whom and at what price you will sell your produce, as there are no fixed rules of this game.»
